1. Semi-Hi-Tech Gas Detection Systems
Apex Moi utilizes “Semi Hi-Tech” technologies that take industry standards in gas detection a step further. Thanks to its highly sensitive sensors, these systems detect explosive (LEL), toxic, and asphyxiating gases even at the lowest concentrations. With intelligent algorithms that minimize false alarms, it prevents operational disruptions and maintains complete crew confidence in the system.
2. Gas Detectors
We offer a wide range of detectors that protect your ship’s personnel every step of the way:
- Fixed Detectors: For engine rooms and cargo areas requiring continuous monitoring, these detectors are resistant to harsh marine conditions, humidity, and vibration.
- Portable Detectors: Personal safety devices that provide audible and vibrating warnings and can be carried by personnel before entering and during work in enclosed spaces.
3. Sampling Systems
In ballast tanks, pump rooms, and cargo tanks where detectors cannot be directly placed or are difficult to access, “Sampling Systems” are activated. These systems sequentially collect air samples from designated points and transmit them to a central analysis unit. In this way, gas movements even in the most remote parts of the ship are kept under control.
4. Control Units and Monitoring Panels
Our control units, acting as the brain of the system, process data from all sensors in real time. Thanks to their user-friendly interfaces, they instantly report the location, type, and level of a potential gas leak to the bridge or engine control room (ECR). They automatically activate audible and visual alarm systems, enabling rapid evacuation and intervention.
